No one can dispute that these coasters are gorgeous! They're even more stunning in person than they are in photographs. The wood grains are striking, and each coaster looks like it was patterned off a large swath of Autumnal farmland as seen from an airplane. They're thick and well-made, and look good with any decor. The one drawback I have found so far is that they appear to be problematic when a sweaty glass is set on them. They're not particularly absorbent, and the moisture from the glass tends to stain the wood, despite it's protective coating. I find that they're better suited for insulated mugs and glasses, which don't sweat as much. And that's what I'll use them for. They're too pretty and distinctive to take a chance on ruining them! I'll buy another set with cork or rope inlays to use with my beverage containers made of glass or plastic.
