Fun but takes practice

Before using it I had to watch a YouTube video explaining how to use one of these and even then it took some practice but was halfway in my head I'm a pro, and now I don't have to worry about it (actually, I was a little afraid of it and left it in the box for a while). I quickly learned that the key is to point the tip of the curling iron down and start coiling midway up the head and working to the ends of the hair, which is the opposite of what you're used to , if you've ever only used a curling iron. attachable curling irons. This curling iron set the curl very quickly, and then you just tugged gently and voila, band curls. So this is good news. The bad news is that due to the shape of the stem, which is a flattened oval but with some angles to a flattened oval, these edges have left some unwanted creases in a smoother curl, almost like tweezers have been made before. I've tried thick and thin pieces and haven't seen any difference, but when I've made it shorter I've seen less of an effect. Another thing I wasn't sure I liked was that, at least with my shoulder-length hair, I couldn't really do the chopstick ends. Well I didn't use a glove and if I did I might be braver and hold my hair ends closer to the stick but since they looked kind of sloppy I need to practice to see if I can roll it a little further . I was happy to see that even though the wand is quite small, the curls were quite loose and flowy, not tight like a corkscrew. I think it would be even better if my hair was a little longer than my shoulders since I could only do about 3, maybe 4 twists. The wand itself is beautiful, classy looking and very professional and very light weight. The price is a bit high but I have friends who pay the same monthly for conditioner and shampoo at the salon so there is a demand for it.
