This is great gear! This ironing pad makes your ironing board or surface so much better! This greatly reduces the amount of time and effort required to get your fabric smooth enough. I gave up fighting an ironing board full of towels or ripped mattress covers long ago in the remotest hope of getting the job done without going through each piece at least 3 or 4 times! I used a small wool square to iron my small sewing projects, I used it to iron shirts and other clothing items, it took a little longer than I would have liked but I still preferred a towel lined ironing board. Now my tabletop is lined with wool, the size is just right and I'm a happy backpacker...well, a happy New Zealand wool fan! Thank you!
