Depending on the seller's response I will update my review later. Right now I honestly don't know what to think. Before I took the sheet out of the packaging, I noticed about 3-4 black fluffs (looks like bugs at first glance!). (Unfortunately I didn't think to take a picture while it was still in the box). Then I pulled it out because I wanted to measure the depth of the corner. Unlike other sheets advertised for mattresses larger than 18 inches wide, this sheet certainly was advertised! (The seam measures 21 inches and there are angled straps). BUT it has EVERYTHING on it with black-brown threads and fluff! (leaf turquoise). I'd like to think it's just due to poor quality control in production/packaging, but I'm wondering if this was a RETURNED item (despite being advertised as new)?!?! (If so, even if the previous buyer never USE it (according to what they say or your supposed observation) it should still be listed as a returned item (because it was still in another house and I can't know if it was was the house smoke free, pet free, dirty, etc.) I don't mind buying some used items, but the decision to buy new or used is up to the BUYER, not who I had in mind to buy them to unfold fully inspect/take more photos but thought it would make more sense to fold it back up to shake the outside before washing (because I don't want to bother with returns and because I'm looking forward to FINALLY getting a sheet leave it on the mattress!) Depending on how the rest looks, I might get it back.. I'm not usually the type of person to write bad reviews or in general even complained a lot. I was really hoping to become a satisfied regular customer, but I'm honestly disappointed with that "first impression". UPDATE: I had to send it back as I probably won't be able to return it now that I've washed it. There was MUCH more fluff of a different color after I shook it out the first time. But I didn't see anything wrong with it, so I decided to keep it rather than look for an open store near me that accepts Revain returns (as many stores are currently closed due to the coronavirus). After putting it on the bed this afternoon, I noticed what appeared to be a stain. There are also some signs of wear on the fabric. These aren't creases, just weird stitch lines running in random places. I don't expect this to last long. So upset! As expensive as these sheets are ($22+ for EACH sheet, not per set), I am extremely disappointed in this flat sheet that I ordered. Although the pockets are really deep and it's a soft sheet I will keep looking for better quality as it was overpriced compared to what I got.
