Review on ๐Ÿ”ฎ Enhance Air Purification with GermGuardian LB5000 GENUINE UV-C Replacement Bulb for AC5000 & AC5250PT Germ Guardian Air Purifiers by Ronald Ingram

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works well and guaranteed.

Arrived in good condition, works great. Perfect fit for my AC5250PT. Two tips and one hint: Tip 1) You change the lightbulb by holding it by the edges without jerking and turning it and as soon as you see the contacts you can pull it out. When removing and reinserting the bulb, you will likely encounter some resistance as the bulb is held in place by the spring tabs. Just thread them through and the bulb won't break. *Tip 2) At least on my AC5250PT air purifier model, you will see a slight glow in the front and this is perfectly normal. Note: I bought this bulb when my air purifier started yelling at me about needing a new one after about a year of use. As I inserted it, I noticed light seeping through, which had never happened before. My old lamp burned out and I thought my original unit, which I bought over a year ago, came with a defective lamp! I installed this one, it's called Germguardian, after a minute I was already talking to a nice American lady, told her my story, didn't even wait for my apology, she just said "don't worry, we apologize for the original defective lamp, we'll send you another one so you have a spare bulb when the new one inevitably blows out.โ€ I didn't have to argue that it was only a one year warranty, I didn't have to try to talk to a manager, I didn't have to ask again , in less than 5 minutes after I picked up the phone.. They sent me another bulb. Arrived in two days! Maybe you can buy a matching bulb a little cheaper, but you can't get such service from China directly, and personally I would rather invest your hard earned money with people who make high quality products with a standard that is high enough that they are proud to support it. Kudos to Germguardian. *These lamps contain mercury and very sharp glass (yes, even in 2017 we need it for such lamps, I think it is theoretically possible to use LEDs, but this requires an overhaul of the entire structure). thing, and it'll probably be a lot less user-friendly and more expensive to make, so just don't break it and you won't have any problems, god), among other things. Whilst contact with a single broken lamp will most likely not cause harm, if proper precautions are not taken and you somehow injure yourself replacing the lamp, I cannot be held responsible.
