🔮 Enhance Air Purification with GermGuardian LB5000 GENUINE UV-C Replacement Bulb for AC5000 & AC5250PT Germ Guardian Air Purifiers Review

The lamp that came with the air purifier has lasted over 3 years after running the air purifier in my basement 24/7. This replacement bulb initially fitted and worked well but blew out after only six months. It may have been burning for a while and I only noticed it now.

I have 2 5250 models and a 5000 model. I've changed the bulbs on all of them and tried resetting the filters but I still have a beeping sound on the 5250 models. You can't see the pear none of the 3 blocks. Very frustrating. If I buy a new bulb and filter and roll the dice on whether they work, I'm only a few dollars away from buying a brand new appliance. At least I know the new one works properly.

Remove the back cover and filter and you will see a metal shade covering the lamp. The bulb is opened by 4 Phillips screws. Rotate the bulb 90 degrees to remove. Insert the new lightbulb, making sure that the top and bottom are correctly aligned, and then rotate it 90 degrees to complete the lightbulb installation. I have bought two of these to replace the UV lamp in my GermGuardian AC5000 air purifier and have not been disappointed. They've lasted quite a while with no issues, and in fact my air purifier has tipped over several times to damage one (it was still working at this point after 9+ months of use). In December we bought two replacement bulbs for our two cleaners. The original bulbs lasted a year with 24 hour UV light. I noticed that one of the new bulbs burned out in February. Arrived in good condition, works great. Perfect fit for my AC5250PT. Two tips and one hint: Tip 1) You change the lightbulb by holding it by the edges without jerking and turning it and as soon as you see the contacts you can pull it out. When removing and reinserting the bulb, you will likely encounter some resistance as the bulb is held in place by the spring tabs. Just thread them through and the bulb won't break. *Tip 2) At least on my AC5250PT air purifier model, you will see a slight glow
