As a big fan of the "Shark" of previous devices, I was keen on the promise of "automatic" cleaning our apartment, but the $600-plus price put me off, so I went for the decidedly refurbished design. After arriving and setting it up, which was a bit cumbersome, I was out and about with the vacuum robot, as it worked in the whole apartment. However, this initial positive attitude changed after each use due to constant false "stops" as the device sensed something was blocking the bottom of the machine. I tried repositioning the device after inspecting the device to make sure there were no obstructions and that the entire robot and unloading areas were clean. No amount of cleaning or repositioning has proven effective, and constant monitoring of the device has completely defeated the original purpose of purchasing the device. The device appeared to have a sensor issue that got worse with use and may have been the reason for the initial return. The supplier (Woot) does not have a replacement option, so the unit will be returned for credit.
