and very happy with it

We have the V10 tier and are very happy with it! We got it to replace our vertical Dyson Sphere: it was great, but quite awkward and annoying to lug up and down stairs. Animal v10 is much lighter and much more portable. It seems to be doing an equally good job considering how much more I use V10! It's great for a quick jog through high-traffic areas or for a deeper cleaning of carpets and hard floors. We have medium to low pile rugs on hardwood and tile floors (about 1000 square feet per floor) and they work great on both. the size of the canister and other nozzles are the same), so I got a small beast. I like that it has multiple settings, from running fast to the lowest setting on the roller head motor to the highest setting (you can raise or lower the holes on the head for different suction levels - the lower setting has stronger suction, the higher setting sucks in bigger debris ); Deep cleaning of soiled carpets (motor at maximum speed and roller head at lowest speed). My only small issue is that you have to hold the trigger down to keep the engine running. Not a big problem as no job takes that long, but after doing all of the above my trigger finger hurts a bit (I'm getting old!). I love that it's light and quiet enough for my 4 year old to use and my 6 month old son isn't afraid of it! Emptying the canister is very easy: no dust or dirt to touch, plus there is a rubber seal that slides down the center of the canister to push more dust out of the center cylinder. The first time I tried to empty the canister it took a bit more force to open it fully and I was a little worried it might break. Since then I have had no problems opening it and it stays tight when closed. This is a massive improvement over our 2008/9 Dyson ball in every way! And I loved our old Dyson!
