Bought these speakers in July (three months at the time of writing this article) Used them for commuting and traveling About 3 weeks ago I started hearing buzzing/rattling in the driver's side door panels . My first thought would be the door panel itself, or that something is loosening inside. Aperture opened and noise checked = rattling persists. In the end I decided to open up the speaker and see if that was the reason. Of course, the rubber dome really came loose and dangled. I managed to quiet the hum by tightening the grille when I reinserted the speaker. But the rattling is still there and it's pretty annoying. When I paid for this product I was expecting entry level sound but decent build quality. I was very disappointed that this speaker fell apart 3 months after I bought it. Maybe I was unlucky. But I personally would not recommend this product.
