Oh, I know this talking hamster was meant for my grandson, but boy, did we adults have a good time with it as well! LOL It does repeat EVERY thing you say. And you don't have to have it directly near your face. It records from a good distance. My grandson, once he got it away from us, LOVED IT! He sang to it and his big eyes popped open when he heard the words repeated perfectly! I have to mention, it is VERY sturdy, as well! He's only 2 1/2 and tends to squeeze, bounce and even throw things.months later, I called and learned talking Hamster is STILL talking!It was the most original gift for a boy who has pretty much everything.I highly recommend it. It gives you hours and hours of fun!
