So I was hoping my cats would use this top entry box and hopefully they will eventually. I had to remove the door because it had sat unused for two weeks because they didn't go upstairs and the door was making them nervous. I didn't like that they got stuck there as soon as they entered as there is only one way. Also, most of my cats are large. The door won't close after they come in, even with the big box. So I removed the door and they use it like a regular box. I'll let her get used to it and try to put the door back on. Gathering was fine. It was a little difficult to keep the pieces rigid where they fold to fit the slots. But together it's pretty solid. My cats jumped on it and they are not easy.
