I really like these. I bought these because I've lost a lot of weight lately and I can finally ride my bike comfortably again, so I decided to walk my dog (hat mix). Having not ridden a bike for about 10 years and being clumsy, I figured it would be wiser to protect myself. The wrist guards don't get used as much (the brakes are a bit awkward) but I feel a lot safer with my knees and elbows. Some people have mentioned that they are not for tall people but I am 5ft 5" and 270 when I first started using them (245 now) and they fit me comfortably all the time. At over 30 I can't afford to fall, lose my job or not be able to keep up with my dog which is why they saved my life although (thankfully) I didn't have to test them yet in a fall.
