I purchased this at Target, and the results are consistent and really great for the price! The cream is thick and moisturizing, but not heavy at all. I have fine kinky 3c/4a hair and this cream does not prevent me from achieving volume! My curls are defined, hydrated, and a gel was optional for me. It has an amazing hold without being hard or crunchy, and I didn't experience any flaking or dryness. My hair stayed soft and defined until wash day. The ONLY reason I took a star off is because 1. This product like most contains coconut oil, which affects my hair negatively with consistent use as a level in. 2. The scent makes me gag. It smells like strong plastic fruit, or like "doll heads". I hate the smell, but I'm also sensitive to strong fragrances.**If my hair tolerated coconut oil, and I enjoyed the scent, this would be my favorite styler.
