great alternative to paper labels for mixes I store in colored glass or plastic jars. I notice that after prolonged handling (like the balm I kept in an amber jar and used every night for several months) the lettering had fallen apart by the time I reached the bottom of the jar. However, if you recycle the can, the label will come off easier than the paper label! We use this pen to mark wine bottles that will be used for a night or two, or potted seedlings that are then cleaned and recycled for the next harvest or planting. It works perfectly.
