I won't lie, these clips are tiny! Much less than I thought. HOWEVER I found a way to use them on both my hair and my daughter's hair (I have 2 of these, 7 and 10 years old). I have found that they work best (for adult hair) as decorations. I will use them to jazz up my top bun or messy bun and they can secure a loose strand too! They look really cute and add a bit of shine to my hair when I use them this way. On my daughter's hair, they work great as little clips to keep the front hair out of her face. I also use them to decorate different hairstyles. And you get a TON for your money. The value is great! It's not cheap plastic like you might find. They are durable and made of very hard, safe plastic. You will also receive loads of flowers! I bought these for my daughters but found I use them just as often! One thing since they are so tiny. Keep an eye on them and make sure your kids give them back to you when they take them out, otherwise you might say goodbye! these little guys. Also, DO NOT USE if your children are of hand-to-mouth age. They can be pulled out and can easily lead to choking. Please be careful! I love them and love how they add a bit of sparkle, shine and color to any hairstyle! Whether 30 or 10!
