I have multiple compasses and was looking for a reflex sight compass as a backup compass. This was reasonably priced for my needs. I seem to be well done although it came with no instructions and I couldn't figure out how to set the declination for a while. The adjustment key was in the box it came in so without instructions I had no idea how to make the adjustments. Even the key took me to fiddle with for a while before I figured out how to set it up. The compass adjusts accurately and appears to show exactly where north is. And as a bonus, there were no bubbles in the case. The declination is very difficult to set in the sense that the arrow covers zero degrees. Therefore, you must use a high magnification loupe to get a fine adjustment. The adjustment wrench is very difficult to hold which makes adjustment very difficult if you have large hands. The adjustment key has been disconnected from the cable. They are usually attached to the cable at the factory. Since there were absolutely no instructions or information on how to adjust the compass, and the key came in a small box, I assumed there was no adjustment key and went to the manufacturer's website and looked for information. There was nothing on the website. I tried to email the website but the email didn't go through. Therefore, if you want to buy this product, you will not receive any support. As I have other high quality compasses I would buy a Silva or Suunto asap in advance and be done with that. Or, if you need a decent quality compass to back up or want to learn, you can always get a small handheld compass like the smaller Brunton baseplate compasses, which have a very basic declination setting that is very accurate. However, they are not a reflex sight compass. although for me I prefer standard compasses with a base plate.
