I bought this to replace my Logitec because I lost the transmitter. It only uses one AAA battery, so this weighs less than my old one did. That might seem like a good thing- less e-waste perhaps- but it's so light weight that I barely feel it in my hand and tend to drop it. It might just take some getting used to. The only really annoying thing about this clicker is that the transmitter stores inside the battery compartment, so you have to take the battery cover off every time you get out/put away the transmitter. The function buttons all work fine. My Logitec had an auto-shut off if I accidentally left it on.this one does not have that feature so I will probably go through batteries faster. so much for "less e-waste" :-/
