Review on 💦 Watts Premier Permeate Pump: Complete Install Kit for Optimal Performance (Model 560041) by Brett Gilbert

I've had this installed since August 2014 and it does what it's supposed to do, but as others have noted it makes a pretty loud clicking noise (about 1 click per second when active). The clicks are reinforced under the cabinet and how the pump attaches to the side of the cabinet. I tried isolating it from the mount by hanging it from a rubber bike tube, but that didn't work in my case. I have a stainless steel sink and it lets more noise through than cast iron. In addition, the vibration of the water moving with each click of the pump is transmitted through the red drain pipe (brine) to the valve handle on the sink, increasing the effect of the sound. I like its functionality but not the noise. I may have to try replacing it with an ERP-500 (560054) which they claim is quieter.
