Pretty good mouse. There are a total of 16 programmable buttons. The rocker buttons below the scroll wheel are not programmable. They are dedicated to changing permissions. Programmable buttons include thumb pad 1-12), rapid fire next to left mouse button, wheel and 2 standard mouse buttons. The little rest is good, but it takes a little getting used to if you've never had one. The thumb buttons are nice and clicky, but button 6 is a bit soft. The wing under the thumb buttons slightly blocks the bottom four buttons (1,4,7,10). They're difficult to use if you make them a commonly used hotkey. Maybe I only have one thumb. The weight is good and the resolution adjustment in 100 steps can get you where you want to be. The software was easy to download, install and easy to use. It has the ability to start at boot, but it doesn't start when minimized. The lighting isn't what I want, but it suffers from the reproduction of the primary colors of the RGB LEDs and you don't get a good phase between colors when fading. The build quality is good. As some of the other review sites say, the plastic feels a little cheap, but it's well constructed. I like that the wireless receiver is a little USB protrusion. That's the main reason why I was interested in this mouse. I'd really like to see Razer make their Naga wireless with this guy.
