This set comes with detailed instructions for use. However, I have not used the wire hanging system in the past and it was difficult to set up. If the picture hung too low or too high due to the wire, the wire had to be completely re-threaded. You cannot unwind the wire to adjust the slope of the picture. Of the 60 pieces in this set, I used less than half, so I'll try to use it. I hope I can find another use for the wire. But I will use D-rings. They worked fine.
