We have mixed feelings about these gel pens. What I immediately noticed is that the fine tip is too thin. By this I mean that the tip scratches the paper; the ink does not cover the paper completely or evenly; it leaves streaks. It feels like writing with a ballpoint pen and doesn't slip like a gel pen. Some neon colors are more opaque, so we try to use more to get good coverage. Then the barbed tip of the pen begins to tear the paper. We went on a trip and one of the handles was leaking. We don't know how this happened, but there is an open hole in the cap at the top of the pen that appears to have leaked ink. We kept all the pens tip down to avoid repeating such a situation. The colors do not match the color caps or colors in the photos or videos as some others have pointed out. I don't think they will last very long considering the ink tubes are just over half full and it takes longer to achieve full coverage. On the plus side, the caps work well, the metallic inks are nice, and they all dry fairly quickly. Rubber grips prevent fingers from slipping on the tip. Next time I will try another brand and a set with more colors. The set we bought contains 24 colors.
