Review on 3-Pack of Environmentally-Friendly Green Extension Cords by Christopher Smith

Bought 2 packs of 6ft cords, good price. The white/grey chevron braid shown in the attached photos is light grey, more like silver. The woven fabric feels thick enough, not thin enough to wear out quickly, but not thick enough to be soft to the touch. The cable itself is flat (not round), approximately 5/16" (10mm) wide and 3/16" (6mm) thick, allowing it to run behind a bookshelf, cabinet, or sofa. The line is flexible and not rigid (yielding) when unwound - you don't have to work to flatten the line after unwinding. The cable is rated for 13 amps, 125 volts, 1625 watts. Cannot produce 220v for seller response in Q&A and product labels. Made in Vietnam. The dowel is 10/16" (18mm) thick, 1-1/4" (33mm) round and 2-1/2" (60mm) long. An inch is approximately 2-1/2 inches (62mm) long, 1" wide (22mm) and 7/8" (23mm) thick. For security, it has sliding locking tabs over the mortise holes which I find difficult to slide into (but I have arthritis). The info on the label say dry place use and indoor use and says not to use when wet the plugs are clear hard plastic, i found it odd to see bare wires in the plugs, i have pictures of the on wires attached to the plugs/sockets, it is not UL recognized but it is UL 817 compliant and STD C22 certified 2#21 I have not looked them up to verify their authenticity These are two prong plugs by the way , so three-pin (grounding) plugs don't work in the US On a two-pin jack, one pin is larger than that other. Devices/devices connect easily, just stay on and off. The cord appears to be well attached to the connector and is strong. Weighs 5 ounces and rolls up fairly compact for travel. Overall functional and I am happy with the product.
