Repair it yourself for $30 vs. $325 at a service center
This kit has just about everything you need to repair a faulty dryer at a price no service technician can match. Everything is easy to swap out, it literally takes 5 minutes including searching and watching a 3 minute manual on YouTube and the service technician I originally called wanted 11x the price of the kit to fix my dryer. The only downside to this kit is that it doesn't have a thermal fuse or extra wires, but you can find similar kits with these items or buy them separately. For some reason it's cheaper to buy this kit and fuse separately.
