I installed them on a 2005 Buick Century with daytime running lights. That means the front turn signals are bound to the DRL module. at the same time constantly when the emergency lighting is switched on. SOLUTION I found. I hooked up the positive "red" DRL to my ignition fuse and added a 5 amp fuse and the negative "black" to my battery negative so the DRL strips would light up when my engine was running. I tied the sequencer turn signals with a "yellow" wire to each side of the side lamps that light up when the turn signal is on because that's a constant wattage. I also installed on my son's car that doesn't have a DRL module that connects the turn signals directly to the turn signal bulb wire harness and I connected the "red" positive DRL strips to my ignition fuse and a 5 amp Fuse and added a "black" negative to the negative of my batteries so the DRL strips are on when my engine is running.
