I don't like to give 5 stars for something that isn't perfect and they weren't perfect but they were great quality. I find they sound better (clarity) than the Beats. They don't have as good bass response as the Beats, but they're also over a hundred dollars cheaper. Response Rate: 7 Clarity: 8 Comfort: 9 (Personal preference, but I don't like earphones. A few hours without complaints.) Comfort: 6 (works well, but they're bulky) Durability: 8 (was only a week , but the original quality is very good and feels solid) Appearance: 9 (personal preference, but I want something people can see and hopefully won't interfere with my work, but appear to be of good quality) Sound quality is highly device dependent. I've noticed that if I could tweak the bass/treble on the unit it would have a huge impact on the sound. Some headphones are suitable for a niche in which certain music is played. They don't really lend themselves to hip hop/rap or hard rock, but they sound good on minimal settings.
