The filter I ordered was supposed to be a ShopVac product. No, that is not so. This is Allergy BeGone by PROC. Maybe it's someone who sells ShopVac filters, but I was expecting a product like the one I saw on the ShopVac website when I was looking for them to find out what model of filter I need. Something like in the photo. Anyway since I need to use my ShopVac I installed a filter. The first thing I thought was that the filter looks much taller than the old one and bulkier. However, the filter is suitable after installation. The second problem I had was adjusting the filter. This filter is much thinner than the real ShopVac filter that came in the vacuum. The filter actually folded over the edges twice because it took a lot of strength to slide it back into place. The third problem was putting the cover back on. It also required some strength. I ended up having to rotate the lid and filter while pushing down on the lid for everything to snap into place. does not run to the end. Actually I thought the purpose of the cap was to compress the rubber on the filter to create a seal. All this as they say. If I have to buy another filter, it won't be one of these filters. I'll find another place where I'm guaranteed to get a ShopVac filter.
