My gas cap was getting harder and harder to use and I didn't want to be trapped in the tank! As soon as the package arrived with it I've used it on my gas cap and it's better than new! I went ahead and used it for other locks on my cars and for the front door locks around the house. All my locks now work smoothly, and the keys go in and out without binding or binding. Everyone should keep these things in their tool box/garbage box :)
