A reasonably priced magnetic base that does a pretty good job of holding a dial gauge for the price. Pros: 1. The magnetic base is strong enough to hold the large dial upside down and sideways (as shown) unless the metal is too smooth. I tried the side of the fridge and it couldn't stand it and slowly slid down. But it worked great on all parts of my machine.2. The small size of the base keeps it out of the way most of the time.3. The arms are easily adjustable.4. Fits all watchfaces I have. Cons: 1. The arms are slightly shorter than similar holders, which limits their use/placement.2. For the price, plastic handles seem cheap.3. The small magnetic base is not very strong.
