Everything works pretty much as described. However, there are two disadvantages. The clamp is plastic and is under a lot of stress, causing it to bend too much. My Presonus M7 mic is in the upper diameter range and has an insert, but the isolation mount required a lot of adjustment for the mount to work properly.
