I12 magnetic charging plate needs 15W and Subaru 5 volt 1 amp USB can't handle it. The Subaru (mine, at least) has a plastic connector that hides the cigarette lighter socket, and it plugs into a QGeeM 36W USB-C/USB Adapter, a 2-port I12-compatible fast car charger. The USB port powers the Apple 15W charging pad IF YOU attach the included charging pad to the back of the iPhone with the included 3M 300LSE tape. It is actually difficult to get the phone off the plate and if this step is not taken the phone will fall off. I don't understand why such a plate doesn't come with all iPhones. Turn on automatically. Plug in your phone. When you stop, turn off the key and put the phone away.
