This is a great little pump. With a pumping capacity of almost 3,000 gallons per hour and a head of about 17 feet, it's amazing that it's so small. I love the fact that this is a DC pump; Being able to run it at 30-100% power is really great, especially when you're unsure of how much volume you need. I think many would consider the pump a bit pricey but at it's maximum capacity (2600 gph - that's a lot of water!). The pump is also extremely quiet, which surprised me a bit. Durability is the only remaining "X" factor and only time will tell if the pump will last for many years (I have a feeling it will).
