Works Great: Oven and Grill Cleaner

This natural grill cleaner works great as advertised. It is an organic powder that looks like a medium sized translucent salt. You can dissolve it in warm water and spray it on grills and the like. For a deep clean, you can sprinkle (and dampen) it directly onto the surface. Either way, let it sit and let its magic work its magic. It usually takes 1/2 hour to several hours for the dirt to penetrate. After giving it enough time, scrape off the dirt easily and effortlessly. I love that this material is natural, organic and food safe. It appears to be acidic (maybe something like citric acid, but it never says what the ingredients are), so don't use it on cast iron, wood, marble, etc. You'll also need a spray bottle and some cleaning supplies. Also, remove as much dirt as possible from the hot grill and allow it to cool before applying this material. You must give him time to do his job before you do his part. Overall I find this material helpful. It works great if you use the right amount and give it time to work its magic. Handles grease and dirt very well. It also works well for stainless steel pots and pans. I appreciate that it is food safe which gives me peace of mind. I would recommend trying it. It gets the job done and makes cleaning less of a hassle.
