This is the third Regalo I have received. The first two are amazing. This garbage. The latch is a thin molded plastic. And it all seems more fragile than the other two I have. They replaced the solid bar at the bottom and made it screwable. One of the threaded holes was broken so the screw could not be fully screwed in. The locking mechanism is disabled. If you tighten the sides to fit snugly in the doorway, the latch will not open the door at the gate. If you leave them loose enough to be able to open the door, my dog might just push the whole thing down. I wouldn't do that to a child. I don't know why they changed the design, it sucks. Send back.
