This key works great for my Android phones and a friend's Windows 8.1 laptop. Unfortunately it does not work on my surface pro 4 with windows 10. I am disappointed that the microsoft hardware key does not work on microsoft hardware running microsoft software when used with a mobile phone made by lg with the software made by flawlessly works google. I can't recommend purchasing until Microsoft fixes the issues preventing Windows 10 from properly connecting to their own hardware. PS: I've already contacted two Microsoft technical support staff and none of the troubleshooting steps (restart computer, reinstall network drivers, reinstall video drivers, open windows defender firewall) don't work.
