This case fits my 13" MacBook Air perfectly. I chose the matte case and am very glad I did because it has a nice smooth rubbery feel that gives me a gives good support.Weight at first but now I've gotten very used to it and I have no complaints.I'm pretty carefree with my laptops (I just stuff them in my bag with all my books and papers) and this laptop bag has also protected the lid, it's (still) scratch and smudge proof. Yes, the bottom of the case is just plain smooth, but no one will see the bottom, so I don't care. Also, I removed the back cover anyway because my laptop was closed got hot.Overall I am very happy with my purchase and will wear this case for a long time.
