Rubber toe cap came loose shortly after purchase/outsole also wears out quickly/shoe laces too long
I love Altras, but for $180 boots it's quite disappointing that the rubber toe cap has started to separate from the sole after only a few weeks of use. Also, the tread wears out very quickly, I think they could use a harder and more durable rubber. The laces are too long even if they are fully double knotted. I wish they had made these boots out of better materials, they would have been better hiking shoes if it wasn't for the poor workmanship.
