The kit was enough to make the front of my kayak. Since I had a small pelican, I had extra elastic. It turned out to be larger in diameter than I expected as it was wider than the original bungee but should hold up better. The hooks didn't stay on the end of the bungee cord without pressure, so I tied them tight instead.
