We think the holidays are a great excuse to eat cookies and cake

So when you're all grown up, married long and losing your head over what to give your spouse on an anniversary, you're grasping at straws. This cup was one of the straws mentioned. My wife has everything in the world. If we (they) want it, we (they) get it. We see the holidays as a good excuse to eat cookies and cake; We couldn't care less about gifts. However, if you have anniversary roles, you'd better have some kind of gift, Jack. Or you better make sure you have a comfortable sofa to sleep on. My wife loves anything written by Jane Austen so I decided to buy these so she can show everyone she has a Jane Austen mug (I'm sure under Jane Austen's elitism that is one thing.) This mug turned out to be a great gift for wives. Of course I gave her other things as well, but that was just the icing on the cake. It's covered in excerpts from Jane Austen's novels and looks very dated. It even has a portrait of Jane Austen so you can remember what she looks like on days you just can't remember. It is well made and appears to be very durable. It's about average in size, as it holds 16 ounces (a can of Coke weighs 12 ounces if you put it in perspective). It's perfect for tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc. Damn I could go on and on but let's be honest this is one hell of a mug. If you like the looks and want a good, reliable and durable mug then look no further! At worst, use it as a miniature bamboo pot.

Pros
  • Coffee mugs
Cons
  • A pretentious piggy bank
