These are the most comfortable pair of steel socks I have ever worn. The toe box is wide enough to give your feet freedom of movement throughout the day. I bought these after pain in my feet due to tight boots and have had no problems with them. Arch support is on the low side but I personally prefer that. Soles are durable and hold up well, I had no problems with them climbing trailers at work. The laces wear out quickly and the leather needs regular lubrication to stay supple, but I attribute this to the Twisted X using real leather instead of the synthetics you get from other shoe manufacturers. As a side note, since this is real leather, they absorb water quickly. So if you plan on getting them wet often, I would invest in a waterproof conditioner or oil more often.
