Review on Discover the Winkel Rattle & Sensory Teether Toy: A Stimulating Manhattan Toy by Anthony Lopez

Great toy - from birth!

My baby loves this toy. When he was born it was hanging over my changing table. not intentionally, but as a repository. Well he loved watching it from day two! He started rocking at about 8 weeks, so I helped him. He couldn't officially grab it, but he was able to slip his hands through the loops (probably accidentally) and bring the toy to his face and try to bite it. Now at 16 weeks he picks it up off the floor next to him, passes it between his hands, "chews" etc. He will play with it for 5 minutes without my intervention. It rides well as you can smash it as it returns to its full form when you take it out of your pocket. We also throw him in the car seat with him for some fun without worrying he'll choke on it, choke on it or anything. The square block in the center rattles softly. I wish it was a little louder as the noise is so quiet my toddler doesn't even notice. It's less of a "rattle" and more of a ball toy. My girlfriend warned me NOT to wash it in the dishwasher - she melted it. I only wash with hot soapy water. or occasionally wipe it down with Paci wipes if he drops it along the way. I'll probably buy him a toy string so we can avoid falls along the way!
