Disclaimer for my review, I bought this radio ONLY for Apple Carplay capability

Short and sweet? at this price just buy the thing honestly, i am very satisfied with the radio. As the name suggests, the ONLY reason I bought this head unit was to add Apple CarPlay to an old 8th gen Honda Civic (06-11 model), so that's my main focus. I've heard that those cheaper head units don't do a good job of screen mirroring whether it's iOS or Android so I would advise against using screen mirroring and I haven't even tried enabling screen mirroring on this radio use . I've only been playing the radio for a few hours but the carplay works great, 0 complaints about carplay performance. The touchscreen is responsive and surprisingly doesn't feel pixelated or weird at all. Don't expect the screen to win any awards, but it's not bad either way. FM/AM radio works as it should, make sure you change the radio station region at least in the radio settings to the country you are in. The color of the face buttons on the radio (previous, menu, next) can be changed to any primary color (red, blue, green, etc.) or set to automatic rainbow cycle mode, so it's pretty neat. tested microSD card slot, Bluetooth audio, flash drive music or rear camera (haven't connected the included camera yet) but I assume they probably work fine since I mentioned that the biggest advantage for me is the cheap Carplay function was. .CON: I included a picture in this review, but the sound settings are so primitive it's embarrassing, no EQ settings other than Treble and Bass, and a master fader. Luckily this car is driven by my wife who is not an audiophile and just wanted to listen to music and have built in navigation on the big screen. Another small detail that may not suit everyone, either this radio feels like too big a double noise or my Metra dash kit was smaller so I had to trim my radio kit vertically and horizontally to fit the radio. All 4 sides have been beveled by at least 1mm for a tight fit so your results may vary. Another note that this radio does NOT come with mounting bolts, I work in cars so I have tons of bolts and screws and ended up using a few spare 8mm bolts found in many Honda and Acura. Conclusion: This is an AMAZING upgrade to a factory radio with factory speakers. If you have a stock factory radio that doesn't support music playback via Bluetooth or USB "ipod", this is probably for you. My wife's car only had an aux port, and these new iPhones no longer have headphone jacks. If you are planning on getting better speakers or maybe running an amp or something I would definitely 100% buy something else, either an old (perhaps used) high quality "non-smart" touch screen radio screen or a high quality Carplay radio such as Pioneer's newer AVH line (expect to pay upwards of $300 for a well-known brand Carplay radio). doesn't matter much to most. What worries me is the lack of mounting screws, most consumers just don't have a bucket of screws like mine to dig through. I hope this review helps someone, as I said I highly recommend swapping out the factory radio for those who aren't too concerned about messing around with sound settings.
