Review on 🐠 LILYS PET Stainless Steel Aquarium Plant Tools: Perfect Sets for Your Aquatic Tank by Debbie Daly

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great help with a planted tank!

Goodbye I love this set. I did a lot of research and this set had the best ratio of good reviews. After reading the reviews I was exceptionally careful about wiping down after each use for fear of rust. But so far so good. I've had them for a few weeks and I don't see anything to suggest this could be happening, but I keep wiping them off. The straight tweezers are actually the most commonly used, and I've found that with the angle of the other tweezers, they get a little longer on the end (they're the same length, but the curvature reduces how deep I can reach the root of the plant). it could also be that I don't know how to use the other one, or that it's better for more delicate plants or something). Ditto for straight scissors, they give you a bit more reach, but I guess I'll have to get used to the bend again. I think it depends on the size of the sheet or what you're cutting. The small flat ax was effective on the sandy bottom in my shrimp tank. I could probably get by with just straight tweezers, straight scissors, and a pick for my setup, but I don't think I've seen a set of those specific three tools. I would just take this set. UPDATE: 6 months later it became severe and knocked on wood, NO RUST. great set Highly recommended. Please note I wipe them down after each use but I've probably missed it once or twice but still NO RUST. Not sure what other reviewers are talking about, maybe it's a different product? I don't even think they will rust if I soak them.
