Ideal for securing sheet metal in place
Well made and easy to install, these Rivet Nuts provide a secure connection to sheet metal when sheet metal screws fail. Ideal for connections that must be detachable. I used them to attach equipment to panels in the back of my pickup truck. Due to the larger hole size, a much higher clamp load can be achieved. Installation videos are easy to find online. I recommend using a slightly smaller drill bit and then reaming to a snug fit.
