If you take the time to play around with the nato clamp, this is by far the best value sliding nato clamp Relationship. SmallRig is almost twice the size. I mainly use a variety of SmallRig NATO rails and what is annoying is that they are not all the same width and this NATO clamp needs to be adjusted to work with the existing rails I use. Loosen the two bolts and adjust the settings. And while it's open, take a small piece of tape and stick the bolt onto the sprocket. You don't need much; just small enough to keep it in place and not compromise functionality. This eliminates the rattle that can be frustrating on set when everyone turns to face you as you move the camera and this NATO clamp rattles. The NATO rail is ok but it has a center piece in the middle so the screws can get in the way if you need a center mount. The SmallRig 7cm NATO Rail does not have this and is continuously open. As I said, the best combination of nato slide clamp and rail for the price. Just understand the limitations and what you need to do to make it work properly. 4 stars
