Review on INNOCN Computer Mountable 4K MiniLED Monitor with Adjustable Brightness, Wall Mount, Blue Light Filter, HDR1000, HDMI, and LED by Brian Carney

Great 4K monitor with amazing brightness and sharpness

The monitor came in a large box, but was packaged nicely and securely. Looking at the box I was wondering if it really was a 27" monitor or if a larger monitor/TV had been sent to me. It comes with cables (DisplayPort, HDMI and USB-C), a huge one Power adapter supplied with good length cables, a well written user manual and a color calibration report. Mounting the stand to the monitor took only a few minutes and required no tools. The stand is well made and durable. The stand has a hole for cables to pass through The monitor is thick (2.5"), almost twice as thick as my 27" HP monitor which is a few years old. Together with the stand, it weighs 6.6 kg (14.5 lbs). After the Switching it on I chose the language and I'm good to go. The menu system is easy to navigate and settings easy to update. For now I'm happy with the factory calibration, maybe I'll correct it in the future if needed. Love it hey ll it can be. My desk is near the window and my monitor is exposed to the sunlight in the morning hours. The brightness is so great that I can see or read the content on the screen well. There is not much information about the mini-LED in the user manual. The only link I found was on the cover, elsewhere it says the product is an LCD monitor, including the spec. I wish the monitor had USB-A ports, most monitors in this price range have them. I have a couple of HP EliteDisplay 24 inch monitors, they have a couple of USB-A ports that I use. The USB-C port is great, when connected to my MacBook Pro 2016 and 2020 it also charges the battery. This monitor has all the tilt, swivel, and height adjustment features typically found on top-of-the-line monitors. My EliteDisplay monitors don't have a swivel function, but this one has a feature that I find very useful for showing pictures for my family when they're sitting next to each other. I am impressed by the brightness and sharpness of the monitor. The LED display is great, I can see great details. I'd say it's at least 3-4 times sharper than my HP 24" and 27" monitors. The wide range of colors suits my needs. This is very useful when editing my images in Lightroom and/or Photoshop. I was watching 4K video on this monitor and another 27" monitor nearby. I couldn't believe how vivid the colors were on this new monitor. But of course this monitor costs twice as much as a 24" monitor and 4-5 times as much as my 27" monitor. Auto-brightness is disabled by default. I turned it on but had to turn it off again after a few minutes as the brightness was changing almost every second or two. Check out the Google search page at the end of the video, which shows how the brightness changes quite often when auto-brightness is on. I use this monitor with my HP EliteBook (Win 10) work laptop, Lenovo IdeaPad (Win 11) personal gaming laptop and 2020 MackBook Pro. . App icons look very crisp but also a bit saturated. On an HP laptop I had to scale the text size from the recommended 150% to 175%. The text is 150% too small for me. The monitor takes about 10 seconds to wake up from sleep mode or change the input source. The monitor is guaranteed for one year. I'm not a gamer so I'm not sure if this will work for games with a 60Hz refresh rate. This is a great monitor for photo/video editors if you can afford it.
