Good GPS watch for beginners

I run 5-12 kilometers a day with this watch. It does a good job of covering the entire distance in a fairly straight line, but accuracy still leaves something to be desired. I have raced several USATF certified races with this watch and it has never been faultless. It recently ran 4.7 miles on an 8K run and 4.97 miles on an 8K run. USATF certification must be within approximately 10 feet. This is not a problem for the amateur runner, but a must for the professional runner during the race. I've also driven my car to measure distance on the odometer while wearing a Note 5 with the Nike Plus open, and the watch kept drifting a bit and the Nike Plus was on. It's not much different, but it's a noticeable difference. Like I said, it's close, but it's not exact. Also, pace calculators are slow to respond and update, slowing down their time a bit. I found it about 15 seconds/mile slower than true pace. This was tested again on my car with my running app on my phone. It's more of an issue than distance because I NEED to know my pace. That's what I train and ride on. This becomes painfully obvious during interval training when you're trying to get 10% over your race pace or fartlek run. The watch also takes about 10-15 seconds to keep up with my pace. However, this watch is good value for money and the battery life is excellent. I found it lasted about 5 days or so between charges. I have dipped them several times with no problems and they are very durable. If you're looking for a decent basic GPS watch for beginners or intermediate users, this is a good find.
