Tips, tricks and two thumbs up!

I bought this for my Kia Optima and a large breed dog. I use it about 6 hours every week and drive 3+ hours and have had it for over a month now. Initial setup was easy, but there are a few things to keep in mind. The legs aren't particularly intuitive to adjust, so follow the instructions and really tighten them to the right length. Adjust the passenger seat so that it fits snugly against the deck. This helps prevent shifting. The carpeting looks like it might slip, but I haven't had any problems. If this becomes a problem I will cut it at the crease and glue it permanently. A few application tips. I noticed a gap in the back near the back seat backrest. This was problematic because my dog could put his foot in the gap. This problem is easily solved with an inexpensive body pillow that I put in the back seat. I have a beautiful fluffy long haired dog. which means a ridiculous abundance of hair. To make cleaning easier, I use a pet seat protector under the playground. This prevents hair from getting into the cracks in the seats, floor, etc. I've found the best way to clean it, or car carpets in general, is with a Dyson Anti-Tangle turbine head on their sweepers. It works wonders FAST. All of this provides a large and stable surface and helps my dog worry less about the journey. what is worth the cost. I highly recommend it.
