We installed them in the fog lights on an old Ford Expedition. They work very well in this application. Very bright and the color matches the halo of the CFLs and LEDs in the new Spyder headlights we installed. Very easy to install. By the way, we installed a DPDT relay, which is powered by the on-board network and turns off when the low beam is on, turning the fog lights into daytime running lights. These lamps are ideal for this application as they are very bright and visible in daylight. But at night they will blind oncoming motorists. Therefore it is appropriate to turn them off when the low beams are on. Since the low beams turn off when the high beams are on, these headlights then turn on with the high beams - perfect!
