Rockport filed for bankruptcy in 2018 and the 'new' Rockport shoes are now cheap imitations from India. VERY cheap fake. I have been a regular 30 year old shopper of Rockport shoes and was blown away by the change in quality. I compared some of my "old" shoes (pre-bankruptcy) to two pairs I just received. They look the same in the photos but the quality is so different I don't know where to start. Complete disappointment. They were so bad I gave them away, new in boxes, in good name. [I've been out of town and haven't tried them on for 30 days so my refund period has expired]. I rarely complain about things but WOW. That's very sad.
