The only application I've used it for is inflating car tires that were already partially inflated. This is the main reason for my purchase. I like that the sensor is built in and I don't have to fiddle with a separate sensor. It works better than most portable tire inflators. Inflates a little quicker than most. Most compact compressors require a cooling time of about 8 minutes. This one too. It is very stable when placed on a fairly smooth surface. Not all devices are of this type. It works as advertised.
